Additional Assurance

Note: All fees indicated are strictly estimates. We cannot & will not guarantee exact fees as the majority of fees are paid to outside agencies such as clinics, doctors, insurance, & other service providers. This information is for planning and estimation purposes only.

Note: Travel fees are constantly changing due to holidays, flight scheduling, & hotel occupancy rates. Please remember that we look for the lowest refundable rates available during the required dates.

*Changes are likely to occur in the Egg Donor’s travel schedule due to changes in retrieval/clinic scheduling, so the purchase of refundable tickets is required & often incurs higher fares than non-refundable tickets.

**Outside Monitoring Fee of $3,500 will apply if the donor is not local to the clinic.

Egg Donor Travel Note: If you choose an Egg Donor that needs to travel to a specific Clinic for the retrieval, there will be travel expenses for the egg donor and a companion (if she chooses to have one) that includes travel, lodging, car rental, and a per diem (if applicable). In general, there will be two separate trips that the egg donor will have to take. The first will be for her medical testing with your clinic of choice (some clinics will allow this to be done locally where the Donor lives, but each fertility clinic has its own preferences). The second time the donor will have to travel will be for the retrieval.

The cost of the travel expenses will also depend on the city that you live in. For example, cities like New York and San Fransisco have higher rates for hotels and airfare. This should be taken into account for parents considering using an Egg Donor that will need to travel.
