Theresa M. Erickson, Esq. – Founder & Chair

Theresa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii and her law degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law. She is also the author of Assisted Reproduction: The Complete Guide to Having a Baby with the Help of a Third Party. Theresa provides couples with the basic tools needed to get started down the often lonely road of infertility. She is experienced in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing the contracts necessary for a successful arrangement between Intended Parents and their Fertility Assistant. Provides counsel and prepares all necessary court documents to assist couples and individuals in establishing their parental rights as Intended Parents.

John E. Erickson – CEO

John is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of Conceptual Options and the Surrogacy & Egg Donation Center. His unique and diverse background as a military veteran and successful businessman give him the ability to oversee the day to day operations of our center. John has instituted our motto of “Do the Right Thing for the Right Reasons” and is responsible for ensuring that our “Team Approach” is working whether you are an Intended Parent, Surrogate, Sperm or Egg Donor, Physician, Psychologist or Attorney. John has taken control of the day to day running of our center which allows Attorney Erickson the time to be active in the assisted reproduction community. John has been married to his wife Theresa Erickson of 24 years and has one daughter Megan and one son Elijah.

Katherine Ellis-Hernandez, Ph.D – Registered Psychological Assistant

As a trained Mental Health Professional, Dr. Ellis-Hernandez is involved from the very beginning of the process to provide education and supportive counseling to surrogates, donors and intended parents. Having Dr. Ellis-Hernandez on staff has allowed us the unique ability to provide the highest level of multi-service care to our families throughout the entire process up to and including post-partum follow-up. Dr. Ellis-Hernandez is also responsible for program and professional development to ensure all aspects of the services we provide are integrated into our code of “Do the right thing for the right reason!”

Tracy Armato – Program Director

Tracy is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Conceptual Options. Her unique and diverse background as an outside sales and marketing representative gives her the ability to guide and support our staff and clients. Tracy ensures that all members of our team are following our code of “Do the right thing for the right reason!” Having been a gestational surrogate herself, Tracy has seen the process of third party assisted reproduction from both angles and is a key support figure in our Team Approach. Her dedication and emotional connection to each and every client, physician, psychologist, staff member and attorney on our team is an invaluable resource.

Melinda Johnson – Senior Case Manager

Responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. Arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. Her dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides her clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day. Melinda has also been a surrogate and working full time in this industry for the last eight years.

Michel Tournay – French Case Manager

Responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. Arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. His dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides our clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day. With the strict laws regarding Surrogacy and Egg Donation Michel helps us break the barriers faced by international clients coming to the United States.

Jessica Patrick – Italian Case Manager

With the strict laws regarding Surrogacy and Egg Donation, Jessica helps us break the barriers faced by our Italian clients coming to the United States. She is responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. She also arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. Her dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides our clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day.

Esteban Molina – Spanish Case Manager

Responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. Arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. His dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides our clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day. Renate Klam – German Case Manager

With the strict laws regarding Surrogacy and Egg Donation Renate helps us break the barriers faced by our German clients coming to the United States. She is responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. Arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. Her dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides our clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day.

Maria Toman – Australian Case Manager

With the strict laws regarding Surrogacy and Egg Donation, Maria helps us break the barriers faced by our Australian clients coming to the United States. She is responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. Arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. Her dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides our clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day.

Loren Glaser – Case / Cycle Coordinator

Provides ongoing support to active Donors, Surrogates, and Intended Parents while cycling within Conceptual Options. Maintains close relationships with all Donors and Surrogates to ensure that they understand and feel complete support throughout their endeavor. Loren also facilitates all medical appointments for both surrogates and egg donors within our program.

Diane Wong – Surrogate Intake Manager

Provides initial screening and ongoing support to active Surrogates while cycling within Conceptual Options. Maintains close relationships with all Surrogates to ensure that they understand and feel complete support throughout their endeavor. Diane also facilitates coordination of Surrogate Retreats and other professional and peer support groups that are an invaluable aspect of our service.

Jenny Hayden – Egg Donor Admissions Coordinator

Responsible for interviewing and educating all Egg Donor Applicants. Arranges and confirms all necessary screening for applicants, as well as verifies all transcripts, records, history etc. for all candidates accepted into our program. Provides ongoing support and ensures up to date availability of all candidates, providing added piece of mind to parents. Jenny’s dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides her clients with the security of care and understanding.

George Sims – Director Of Legal Operations

Responsible for facilitating the legal arrangements with attorneys and investigators. George has the education and experience to ensure that each case is handled in a timely manner, and with strict attention to detail, eliminating errors in preparation and filing of all necessary court documents.

Sabrina Scialpi – Paralegal & Legal Assistant

She is responsible for assisting in the facilitation of the legal arrangements with attorneys and investigators. She has the education and experience to ensure that each case is handled in a timely manner, and with strict attention to detail, eliminating errors in preparation and filing of all necessary court documents.

Jennifer Sims – Trust & Billing Manager

Jennifer is responsible for management and accounting of client trusts handled through the Law Offices of Theresa Erickson and Conceptual Options. Jennifer’s experience in finance is essential to ensure that the accounting and management of client trust accounts is accurate and concise through a variety of auditing processes.

Megan Erickson – Legal Intern

She is responsible for assisting in the facilitation of the legal arrangements with attorneys and investigators. She has the education and experience to ensure that each case is handled in a timely manner, and with strict attention to detail, eliminating errors in preparation and filing of all necessary court documents.

Elijah Erickson – Legal Assistant

He is responsible for assisting in the facilitation of the legal arrangements with attorneys and investigators. His strict attention to detail eliminates errors in preparation and filing of all necessary court documents. He is also responsible for coordinating with outside agencies to ensure all areas of concern are covered.

Daisy Castro – Administrative Assistant

Daisy is responsible for coordinating all office operations. Daisy’s attention to detail and positive attitude ensures the success of all daily tasks within the office. Her dedication and desire to help is unmatched.
