1. How do I select an agency to work with?

Of course, there is no right answer to this question because every woman’s surrogacy journey is different. But, do your homework and choose an agency that best suits your needs and the needs of your family because ultimately you are choosing an agency that you will be working with for a minimum of 12 months. By working with Conceptual Options, you will have the peace of mind knowing that you are working with an agency that has the experience and reputation to fully assist and oversee your successful egg donation and/or surrogacy arrangement by minimizing risks in your most precious investment.

3. How do I start the surrogacy process with Conceptual Options?

By contacting Conceptual Options, your journey will first begin with filling out our surrogate application. Once this has been submitted, a staff member will contact you to speak about any questions you may have, as well as discuss how you would like to experience your potential surrogacy journey. This is also the point where we will educate you on the process, as well as perform your required psychological screening.

Once this is completed, you will be placed on our database – and your journey then begins!

4. How long does the surrogacy process take with Conceptual Options?

Conceptual Options prides itself in making certain that each woman’s surrogacy journey is their own – one that takes into account the surrogate’s own needs, as well as the needs of the intended parents. While some women chose to be matched immediately, where they likely can be matched and in a cycle in a little over a month, other women choose to move a little slower and usually start their cycles in about two to three months.

5. Can I select the intended parents I want to work with?

Absolutely, each woman who chooses to become a surrogate mother does so for different reasons and with different expectations so selecting with whom you would like to help create a family for is certainly an important part of your journey.

6. How are my compensation and medical bills paid?

Surrogate fees and reimbursements are paid monthly on the 1st of each month from an escrow or attorney-client trust account, with medical bills being paid once submitted to us over the course of each month as well.

7. Should your family be involved in your decision to be a surrogate?

Yes, you should absolutely involve your spouse, significant other, and your children in this process so that everyone in your family understands the commitment and dedication that is required to become a surrogate mother for another family. By involving your family, you are on your way to creating a positive surrogacy experience for you and your family.
