The “Midsommer” actress, Florence Pugh, admitted on the podcast, SHE MD, that her gynecologist, Thais Aliabadii, recommended that she freeze her eggs last year after being diagnosed with both polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. Her doctor confirmed that despite her family’s ability to get pregnant easily, her diagnosis almost likely guaranteed future infertility struggles.
Florence, who does not plan to start a family for at least another five years, took it all in stride and didn’t even hesitate to freeze her eggs. Mostly, she is just grateful that she found out when she did.
